Ramjas School Pusa Road

Located at Pusa Road, Karol Bagh Ramjas School Pusa Road is one of the oldest and most hyped school in Delhi. This blog will expose how the school has created such an aura using manipulative tactics against parents and students. It will also look into how the Management of Ramjas Foundation makes profit 📈 from its schools.

The Foundation that runs Ramjas School Pusa Road, Ramjas Foundation was founded by Lala Rai Kedar Nath, a former judge in 1940s. Ramjas School was founded in 1971 by Ram Kanwar Gupta, the owner and founder of Mahavir Book Depot and P.Chand Publishers and Company. He became its first Chairman and Ratan Lal Gupta its first Manager.

Mahavir Publishing Company in Daryaganj.

Today this Foundation runs no less than 16 private and aided schools in Delhi. It also indirectly controls Ramjas College in Delhi. Most of the members of this Foundation, according to limited information available are descendants or owners of large buisness in Delhi. Their sole motive is to make profits and get social status through occupying posts like Chairman and Manager of a school.

The Chairman of the school is like the owner of the school. He/She chairs the School Management Committe and is direct benificiary of school profits.

The Manager of the school is the person responsible for financial management of the school. Sometimes he is also the Secretary of the School Management Committee. He is responsible for collecting fees and managing finances. The school Bank account is jointly controlled by Manager and Principal.

Since getting admission in any Ramjas Primary School, children and parents are sold the dream of studying at Ramjas School Pusa Road or Ramjas School RK Puram. They always inflate the worth of the school, how high level the studies are , exams are held every Monday and teachers are very strict blah.. blah.. blah..

To further indoctrinate children, Teachers of Ramjas School Pusa Road come at the Primary school to conduct 5th Class Final Year examinations. The are God Worshipped and treated like feudal master who has come to meet his serfs.

When a child finishes his studies in 5th Standard, if he has scored high enough and makes it to the cutoff, he is offered admission to the school. There are nearly 120 – 150 seats open every year. This is another clever game by the school, that it gives priority only to students from Ramjas Primary Schools. It cancels other common students. Better to have students and parents who are already programmed like robots and do their bidding.

If he fails to score good marks, then seats can be given for a particular amount. The school will just ask you to make a donation to Ramjas Foundation for ₹5-10 lakhs to secure the admission.

But suppose, you do not play by the rules and decide to approach the court demanding admission. This is when you will recieve a call from Ramjas Foundation offering your child admission in other low quality schools of Ramjas Foundation. These schools like Ramjas No.1, 2, 3 are all shit and do not have good infrastructure.

Once you get admission in the school, you come to know of the reality and toxic atmosphere at the school. A counselor by the name of Ruchika Chhabra always bullies them. Teachers in this school regularly beat students for no reason. Many teachers specifically hit lower class students because of caste system in India. The school makes money from parents, publishers and students. There are 1,100 students in this school and the fees is 1 lakh per year. That is around 11 crores. Most of the money goes straight to Managing Committe and never spent on welfare of students. Not surprisingly, Mohini Bindra, a Former Principal with multiple police cases on her joined the Management of a private school run by a publishing house after her retirement in 2018.

Since the school is ranked among top 200 in India, I have decide to rank the teachers in this school in three lists according to sources –

Red List – Teachers in this group are toxic, sadistic and evil by nature.

Grey List – Moderate level of teachers who are neither good nor strict.

Green List – Good teachers , kind and helpful.
